The Event Coverage

Women In Events brings together women working across Auckland’s events industry for regular evenings of networking and connection. This particular gathering marked a milestone – the group’s seventh birthday – and a chance to celebrate the community they’ve built over seven years of bringing people together.

Our Connection

We’ve been shooting weddings and corporate events at Orakei Bay since 2012, and that relationship is what brought us into the room for this one. As a woman behind the camera, it felt like a fitting evening to capture – a room full of women building each other up in an industry we know well ourselves.

The Brief

Event coverage over a few hours on the night, we captured the energy of the room – guests networking and reconnecting, speeches marking the milestone, and the atmosphere of Orakei Bay itself – alongside a highlight video capturing the spirit of the evening.

The Outcome

The result is a gallery of images and a highlight video Women In Events can use to celebrate the milestone across their own channels, and to keep building visibility for the community they’ve created.
