1.0 Who We Are

Our website address is https://movemedia.co.nz. Moving Films Limited, trading as Move Media (“we”, “us”, “our”), is an Auckland-based event videography and photography studio. You can reach us at hello@movemedia.co.nz.

2.0 Information We Collect

2.1 Contact Form

Our contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs in the background to tell real visitors from spam bots. Turnstile may collect limited technical information from your browser and device (such as your IP address) for this purpose. This is processed by Cloudflare, Inc. in line with the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

2.2 Client Projects

If you engage us for a project, we collect the information needed to plan and deliver your event videography or photography — including contact details, event dates, and billing details where required for an agreement or invoice.

2.3 Gated Galleries

Some project galleries are protected behind an email gate. If you enter your email address to view one, we record it so we can see who’s accessed the gallery and keep it restricted to people it’s meant for. We don’t use this to build a marketing list.

3.0 Photos & Video

With a client’s agreement, we may showcase select projects — photos, video, or both — on our website, in our portfolio, and on social media, as part of our standard terms. If you’d prefer footage or images from your event kept private, let us know and we’ll respect that.

4.0 Cookies & Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website — pages viewed, general location and device type. This data is anonymised and aggregated; it isn’t used to identify you personally. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using Google’s browser add-on, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

5.0 Embedded Content

Some pages may display reviews or embed video from third-party platforms. Embedded content from other websites behaves in exactly the same way as if you had visited that website directly — those services may set their own cookies and collect data about your visit, according to their own privacy policies.

6.0 Who We Share Your Data With

We share information only where it’s needed to run our business:

1. Pin Payments, to process card payments and gift registry contributions.
2. Our email provider, to send booking confirmations, invoices and updates.
3. Cloudflare, to protect our forms from spam and abuse (Turnstile).

We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with anyone for their own marketing purposes.

7.0 How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep project records, agreements and invoices for as long as required under New Zealand tax and business record-keeping law. If you’d like something removed sooner, contact us and we’ll action it where we’re able to.

8.0 Your Rights

You can ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, request a copy of it, or ask us to correct or delete it. This doesn’t apply to information we’re required to keep for legal, tax or accounting purposes. To make a request, email hello@movemedia.co.nz.
